In our line of work, we get the great pleasure of meeting some amazing professionals working hard to create the dream day for brides and grooms around the North West. One such incredible individual is Lucy Smith. We love Lucy because she is just as passionate as we are about not only making your wedding day [...]
Tip 1: Who do you love
We don’t just mean your other half! Consider what type of music you love. Who is your favourite artist/band? You may have differing opinions on this, so think about how you can incorporate a few special songs for each of you into the day. If your partner adores Ed Sheeran, why not choose a romantic song that could be played live as the entrance for the ceremony, our quartet Strings Attached pride themselves on quirky arrangements perfect for that. Or for something more upbeat consider putting in a request with the DJ or one better our wedding band Funk Soul Family may even be able to put together a live version for you.
Tip 2: Do you feel like dancing?
You may love a good boogie, but consider the size of your wedding reception (both the venue and the crowd) and the age of your guests. Work with the band to put together a set list that will get people of all ages up and dancing – consider ‘those’ songs that will make all the girls (and the boys) run screaming to the dance floor.
Tip 3: Footloose and Fancy Free?
At Good Indeed Music we want to make sure you and your guests can relax and enjoy the celebration – that’s why we offer a number of packages to suit whatever you’re looking for, including an all-through package, which includes live music for the ceremony and the afternoon drinks reception courtesy of Plain Folk or Strings Attached, and of course our party band Funk Soul Family for the evening! We’ll provide lights, smoke machine and sound system and take care of all of the background music in between – we’ll even keep the party going late into the night with an iPad DJ service.
